55 years of excellence in education with Christian values!

The school experience is enriched by the socio-cultural background diversity of our students, parents, grandparents and personnel

Through time there has been representation of a variety of congregations from denominations such as Mennonite, Brethren, Adventist, Baptist, Calvinist, Catholic, Cuadrangular, “Defensores de la Fe”, Disciples of Christ, Episcopalian, Lutheran, Methodist, Pentecostal, Union Church, Wesleyan, non affiliated Christian churches, Jewish, Islamic, and others.

Also, from a diversity of ethnicities, races, nationalities and cultures like Argentina, Aruba, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Corsica, Costa Rica, Cuba, Denmark, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Haiti, Hawaii, India, Israel, Italy, Korea, Lithuania, Marrakesh, Mexico, Palestine, Peru, Poland, Puerto Rico, Russia, Saint Croix, Spain, Trinidad-Tobago, Venezuela, Vietnam, continental United States, and others. Most of those from the continental US have come from California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas.

A diversity of academic and professional backgrounds also enriches our school community…teachers, ministers/pastors, doctors, housewives, judges, office workers, school directors, lawyers, college students, legislators, pilots, construction workers, accountants, retired workers, entrepreneurs, police officers, mechanics, firefighters, directors, supervisors and employees of state and federal agencies, musicians, composers, engineers, veterans, military personnel, cooks, diplomats from other countries, maintenance workers, veterinarians, postmen, athletes, conductors, singers, news reporters, actors, cashiers, nurses, social workers, technicians, writers, and others.

Some families live across the street…others as far as Dorado, Caguas, Arecibo, Juncos, Río Grande…Some leave their homes at 7:30 am, others at 4:00 am!

Every person is unique and has a purpose in God’s perfect plan, and at Academia Menonita we want to be instruments and facilitators to others in their search to discern and do God’s will, as we do our own corresponding part.
